NYFIX, Inc. is an established provider to the domestic and international financial markets of trading workstations, trade automation and communication technologies and through its registered broker-dealer subsidiaries, execution services. The NYFIX Network is one of the industry's largest networks, connecting broker-dealers, institutions and exchanges. Cullinane was asked to develop a compelling logo which emphasized it's descriptive name.

Cullinane approached the logo design creative exploration initially by emphasizing the "X" – since it signified an electronic exchange and had a technology sound to it. The chosen logotype consisted of modern sans serif typography underscored by a rule which connected to the "electronic X" symbol which resembled a backlit monitor screen. Building on the success of the logo, we were then asked to develop an award winning direct mail campaign to introduce the brand at the Nasdaq headquarters in Times Square. It was further supported by a print literature system.
