The Biotech Industry Organization (BIO) is the world's largest trade association representing biotechnology companies, academic institutions, state biotechnology centers and related organizations across the United States and in more than 30 other nations. We were asked to develop the brand platform, website and collateral for the annual BIO International Convention.

We first developed a visual concept theme based on a nautilus photo overlaid with biotech and digital imagery along with typographic and color standards which became the platform for all communications related to the event held that year in washington, DC. The applications of the brand included advertising, building and interior signage, press kits, 200 + page catalogue, invitations, direct mail, lanyards and brochures. All communications were rolled out over a one year period preceding the convention.
